What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Camp Margaritaville's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to exclusively use the CR System for booking all reservations through specific channels. The franchisee must also ensure that all reservation systems for the property are synchronized through the property management system (PMS) and that the CR System interface connects with the PMS and the call center. This means that Camp Margaritaville franchisees cannot use other systems for reservations made through the channels specified in Attachment A of the CRS Terms of Use.

In addition to the CR System, Camp Margaritaville franchisees must participate in Margaritaville Metasearch, which facilitates bookings through third-party websites and search engines. This program is funded through a 15% commission collected by the franchisor on booked revenue. Franchisees must also use the day pass booking system provided by RealTime Reservations (RTR) for non-resort guests to book day passes to access amenities, which includes a one-time onboarding cost of $300 and ongoing fees of 12% commission on revenue produced by the day pass reservation system.

The franchisor has implemented a central reservation system (CRS) through which guests can make reservations at Camp Margaritaville Resorts. Franchisees must adopt such CRS pursuant to the CRS Terms of Use incorporated by reference into the Technology Agreement, which includes payment of a one-time set-up fee and ongoing fees based on the type of channel and number of pads/cabins, along with a required PMS subscription. The franchisor reserves the right to modify or change the CRS at any time upon 60 days' notice to the franchisee. Franchisees bear sole responsibility for inventory management, including rates, availability, and restrictions.

Camp Margaritaville also requires franchisees to participate in a customer relationship management system (CRM System) in connection with the CRS. This includes payment of a one-time set-up fee and a monthly subscription fee, based on the number of pads/cabins. The CRM System allows the franchisor, franchisee, and other properties to share guest profile information and includes a secure interface between the Resort's PMS and the CRS. These systems ensure brand consistency and provide a centralized platform for managing reservations and customer data across all Camp Margaritaville locations.
