What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Camp Margaritaville's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee's key personnel will receive initial offsite training at a Camp Margaritaville Resort or other Margaritaville-branded venue that is selected by the franchisor.

The classroom training hours vary depending on the position. Camp Margaritaville Procedures training for Front of House (FOH) staff includes 1 hour of classroom training and 16 hours of on-the-job training. Back of House (BOH) staff receive 1 hour of classroom training and 8 hours of on-the-job training, though this may be reduced for resorts with limited food and beverage operations. Management personnel receive 3 hours of classroom training and 8 hours of on-the-job training.

In addition to the initial training, Camp Margaritaville may also require the Resort’s Key Personnel and other personnel to participate in regional and national meetings and other brand standard training programs. Franchisees are responsible for all their personnel's travel, living and other expenses (including local transportation expenses), and compensation relating to these training programs and conventions.
