What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Camp Margaritaville's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must provide the franchisor with access to all Guest Profile Data in their possession or control through an automated process, in the format and manner specified by the franchisor. The franchisor has the right to access the Resort's property management system (PMS) and other computer systems for this purpose.

This requirement ensures that Camp Margaritaville maintains consistent data collection and usage practices across all franchise locations. By mandating an automated data transfer process and direct access to the franchisee's systems, Camp Margaritaville can efficiently gather and analyze guest data for marketing, service improvements, and overall system management.

For a prospective franchisee, this means integrating their property management system with Camp Margaritaville's central system and adhering to the franchisor's specified data formats. Franchisees should ensure their systems are compatible and capable of automatically transmitting data as required. They should also factor in any costs associated with system upgrades or modifications needed to meet these requirements. Furthermore, franchisees must obtain all necessary consents and authorizations from guests to transmit their data to the franchisor in compliance with applicable laws and the franchisor's privacy notice.
