Task Force Training
For the final part of our required initial training program, we will provide to you a task force to assist in onsite pre-opening training for the Resort to occur approximately 30 days prior to opening. That task force may include personnel employed directly by us or personnel from existing Camp Margaritaville Resorts or other Margaritaville-branded venues. We will be responsible for any costs associated with our personnel, while you will be responsible for any other costs relating to the task force, including costs related to personnel from existing Camp Margaritaville Resorts or other Margaritaville-branded venues. The task force takes place on dates and times mutually agreed upon by you and us. The task force training typically lasts between 10 to 14 days, although we may (at our option) conduct this training on more than one visit. There is no fee for the training by the task force, but you will cover the expenses for our personnel to provide the training.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Camp Margaritaville's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for various training-related expenses. For offsite management training, which lasts approximately three weeks and must be completed 30 days before opening, the franchisee must cover wages, salaries, housing, travel, and per diem charges for their trainees, subject to a mutually agreed-upon budget. However, Camp Margaritaville will cover the costs related to the training venue and its employees.
Camp Margaritaville also offers additional initial training programs for the Resort's staff after the Resort opens. The franchisee is responsible for all costs related to this additional training, including lodging and per diem for the training personnel. These costs are estimated to typically be between $1,000 to $5,000 per instance but could be more depending on the breadth of support required. If a member of the Resort's Key Personnel is replaced, the franchisee must ensure the replacement attends the brand standard training programs. The franchisee may be charged fees for this training, and they must also pay all travel and living expenses.
For the task force training, which occurs approximately 30 days before opening, there is no fee for the training itself. However, the franchisee is responsible for the expenses of Camp Margaritaville's personnel providing the training. If the franchisee fails to demonstrate compliance with System Standards after 14 days of training, the trainers may stay longer, and the franchisee will be required to pay $500 per day per trainer for each additional day, in addition to the task force's additional expenses associated with their extended stay. Franchisees must also pay fees for any supplemental or optional training programs that Camp Margaritaville may offer, as well as all travel, living, and other expenses (including local transportation expenses) and compensation relating to these training programs and conventions for their personnel.
