What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Camp Margaritaville's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Lodge Rider is included as Exhibit C-3. This rider allows franchisees, subject to Camp Margaritaville's approval, to develop, operate, own, manage, and promote a lodge facility. These lodges typically include fewer than 100 guest rooms intended for short-term rentals.
The Lodge Rider is considered part of the Franchise Agreement, and the term 'Resort' includes both the Camp Margaritaville Resorts and any associated Lodge. This means that all terms and conditions outlined in both the Franchise Agreement and the Lodge Rider apply to the operation of the Lodge.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that if they are interested in operating a lodge facility in addition to the RV resort, they should carefully review Exhibit C-3 of the FDD. This exhibit will detail the specific obligations, standards, and requirements for operating a Camp Margaritaville-branded lodge. Franchisees should pay close attention to the specifications for size, design, and layout, as well as any required services and approved suppliers.
