What is the definition of 'Training Program' in the context of Camp Margaritaville?

According to the 2025 Camp Margaritaville Franchise Disclosure Document, the Training Program is a program conducted by employees or representatives of the Franchisor or its Affiliates. Key Personnel must successfully complete this program before the Opening Deadline at a Camp Margaritaville Resort or other Margaritaville-branded venue selected by the Franchisor. The Training Program is designed to enable Key Personnel to operate and manage the Resort effectively. The average duration of the Training Program is approximately 3 weeks, but the Franchisor determines the exact length at its discretion. The franchisor will not charge franchisees any costs or expenses related to the operation of the training venue and its employees used for the Training Program. All other costs associated with the Training Program shall be the responsibility of Franchisee. If any of the Key Personnel are replaced during the Term, the newly hired personnel shall be required to attend the Training Program at Franchisee's sole expense within 1 month of beginning employment or as otherwise agreed by the Parties.

In addition to the initial Training Program, Camp Margaritaville also provides task force support to assist in pre-opening training and setup for the Resort. This Task Force may include the Franchisor's key personnel and trainers, as well as trainers from existing Camp Margaritaville Resorts or other Margaritaville-branded venues. The Franchisor determines the quantity of resources needed for the Task Force. Franchisees must provide complimentary lodging to Task Force personnel during their stay. However, the franchisee is responsible for all other costs associated with the Task Force, including lodging, per diem, travel expenses, and any other costs related to the Resort's use of the Trainers.

Camp Margaritaville also conducts additional training programs throughout the term of the franchise agreement, including conferences, programs, webinars, teleconferences, regional or national conventions or meetings, onsite training by experienced personnel of other Camp Margaritaville Resorts or other Margaritaville-branded venues, or additional or refresher training sessions on matters related to the Camp Margaritaville System. The Franchisor determines the duration, curriculum, and location of such additional training programs, which may take the form of web-based training modules, webinars, seminars, in-person training, or on-site training. Key Personnel, Owners, and other Resort personnel that the Franchisor designates must attend additional training. Franchisees must pay the Franchisor's then-current fees for any onsite or offsite training that the Resort's personnel attend, including, but not limited to, the Training Program. Franchisees are also responsible for all costs associated with Resort personnel related to the Training Program or other required training, including wages, salaries, housing, travel-related expenses, and per diem charges incurred by the trainees, subject to a mutually agreed budget.
