What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Camp Margaritaville's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Customer Data is specifically defined within the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Terms of Use. It encompasses a broad range of information related to customers and end-users of the CRM Services. This includes data retrieved from or inputted by customers, as well as data added to the CRM Services application through the Connection Platform.
Furthermore, Customer Data includes any information acquired for the customer by Margaritaville or the CRM Provider and loaded into the CRM Services application. It also covers any other data or information of the customer or end-user that is accessed, obtained, or provided to Margaritaville or the CRM Provider under the CRM Terms of Use. However, the definition explicitly excludes 'Disaggregated Data,' which is data that has been aggregated from multiple sources and anonymized, ensuring it is no longer identifiable to its source.
This definition is important for Camp Margaritaville franchisees as it clarifies what type of data is considered Customer Data and therefore subject to the terms of use and privacy policies governing the CRM system. Franchisees should be aware of how this data is collected, used, and protected, as they are responsible for adhering to these terms and ensuring the privacy and security of customer information. Understanding this definition helps franchisees manage customer information responsibly and in compliance with the franchise agreement.
