What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Camp Margaritaville's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, food safety and sanitation audits may be required on a quarterly basis at the franchisee's expense. These audits are conducted by Camp Margaritaville or its designated agent. These audits may be in addition to or as part of a Quality Assurance Audit.
This means that as a Camp Margaritaville franchisee, you could be required to undergo food safety and sanitation audits each quarter. You will be responsible for covering the costs associated with these audits. The purpose of these audits is to ensure that your Camp Margaritaville location adheres to the brand's standards for food safety and sanitation.
It is important to note that the franchisor has the right to designate who conducts these audits, which could be either Camp Margaritaville itself or a third-party agent. Franchisees should clarify with Camp Margaritaville what the typical cost of these audits are and who the designated agents are in their area.
