What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Camp Margaritaville's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the average duration of the Management Training Program for key personnel is approximately 3 weeks. This training is conducted by employees or representatives of Camp Margaritaville or its affiliates at a location selected by the franchisor. The purpose of the training is to enable key personnel to effectively operate and manage the resort.
Camp Margaritaville does not charge franchisees any costs or expenses related to the operation of the training venue and its employees used for the Training Program. However, all other costs associated with the Training Program are the responsibility of the franchisee. This means the franchisee will likely need to cover expenses such as travel, lodging, and per diem for their personnel attending the training.
If any key personnel are replaced during the term of the franchise agreement, the newly hired personnel are required to attend the Training Program at the franchisee's sole expense. This training must occur within one month of beginning employment or as otherwise agreed upon by both parties. This ensures that all key personnel are adequately trained in the Camp Margaritaville system, regardless of when they join the team.
