What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Camp Margaritaville's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, an "Amenity" refers to branded features that a franchisee may be granted the right to operate within their Resort. These amenities can include retail stores, meeting spaces, sports courts, kids' areas, swimming pools, marinas, dog parks, and other similar attractions.
A franchisee's right to operate these Amenities is governed by an "Amenities Rider," which is attached to the FDD. If a franchisee is granted the right to operate any Amenities, they will be licensed to use the Camp Margaritaville brand and related trademarks and copyrighted materials applicable to each specific Amenity at the Resort. Any authorized Amenity is considered part of the franchisee's Resort.
The franchisee must ensure that their Resort has sufficient space available for the Amenities, meeting Camp Margaritaville's specifications for size, design, and layout. They are also required to provide services as required by Camp Margaritaville and purchase products and services only from approved suppliers. Furthermore, any Amenity operated under the Amenities Rider must comply with Camp Margaritaville's then-current System Standards for such Amenity in the United States.
