What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to C12 Group's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Transfer Fee of $6,000 is due on the date of transfer. Transfers of C12 Group franchises are subject to the company's prior approval.
This means that if a franchisee decides to sell their C12 Group franchise to another party, they must first obtain approval from C12 Group. Upon approval and completion of the transfer, the franchisee must pay C12 Group a $6,000 transfer fee.
Franchise transfer fees are common in the franchise industry and are intended to compensate the franchisor for the administrative costs and efforts involved in reviewing and approving the transfer, as well as updating records and providing support to the new franchisee. Prospective C12 Group franchisees should factor this fee into their financial planning if they anticipate selling their franchise in the future.
