What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 C12 Group Franchise Disclosure Document, there are no advertising or marketing cooperatives among franchisees, nor is there an advertising council that advises C12 Group on its advertising strategies. The FDD states definitively, "There are no other advertising cooperatives or councils in place." This means that franchisees are not required to participate in any joint advertising efforts with other franchisees, and there is no formal council to influence C12 Group's advertising direction.

C12 Group does maintain a marketing co-op where they will pay a share of the cost of approved C12 Group marketing expenses at a rate equal to the franchisee's monthly royalty fee percentage. This co-op is between the franchisee and C12 Group, not between franchisees. Approved and administered by C12 Group, these expenses include C12 Direct Mail Campaigns and C12 endorsed lead lists. Franchisees must submit a C12 Marketing Co-op Request Form with documentation for review and approval.

C12 Group also provides franchisees with an annual credit of $500 to purchase promotional materials from their online store. Additionally, C12 Group may subsidize the marketing cost of local C12 events, seminars, and awards banquets at the rate of the franchisee's monthly royalty fee percentage against total billings, subject to application and C12 Group's approval, when the events are specifically planned to expand local C12 Group membership. These initiatives are designed to support franchisees' local marketing efforts while maintaining brand consistency and adherence to C12 Brand Standards.
