What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 FDD, C12 Group franchisees must adhere to several operational standards to ensure member satisfaction. These include using C12 Group's specified agendas, facilitation standards, materials, segments, forms, logos, and websites without deviation unless approved in writing by C12 Group. Franchisees must also follow the C12 Brand Standards Guide for paper and colors. By using the C12 Group's established and approved resources, franchisees can deliver a consistent and recognizable service that aligns with the brand's standards. Deviation from these standards could lead to member dissatisfaction or brand inconsistency.
To maintain service quality, C12 Group franchisees are required to establish fixed meeting dates and locations, as well as standard service delivery approaches, such as scheduling monthly one-on-one meetings with members. Franchisees must engage with members reliably according to C12 Group's model, serving as facilitators rather than teachers or preachers. Franchisees are also expected to maintain current information on C12 Group's websites regarding their local group meeting locations, times, and events, and provide members with opportunities to participate in global C12 web functionalities. These measures ensure consistent communication and engagement, which are vital for member satisfaction.
C12 Group franchisees must also avoid certain actions that could harm member relationships or the brand's reputation. They are prohibited from reproducing the C12 Group trade name, logo, or copyrighted materials beyond normal permitted uses without prior written permission. Franchisees cannot solicit C12 Group members to sell them other products or services. Furthermore, franchisees must exercise best efforts to ensure that C12 Group members abide by the franchisor's code of conduct and support sound biblical doctrine. Franchisees are expected to maintain "above reproach" conduct, avoiding behaviors that could be questionable or cause members to stumble. These restrictions aim to preserve the integrity of the C12 Group brand and maintain a positive environment for members.
