What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 C12 Group Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is restricted from soliciting current or prospective members who live and work outside of their designated territory. However, the franchisee may provide C12 Group services to members who live or work outside of the territory but want to participate in meetings within the franchisee's territory. Similarly, individuals living within a franchisee's territory can engage with C12 Group businesses operated by other franchisees or the franchisor.
If a franchisee is contacted by prospective members who live and work outside of their territory, the franchisee must inform these individuals about other C12 Group business forum options, if available. The franchisee is then obligated to provide the prospective members with the contact information of the C12 Group franchisee whose territory the prospective members reside and work within.
These restrictions are designed to protect the territorial exclusivity granted to each C12 Group franchisee and to ensure that prospective members are directed to the franchisee who is responsible for their area. This policy aims to maintain an organized and fair system for all franchisees within the C12 Group network.
