What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 C12 Group Franchise Disclosure Document, C12 Group maintains sole discretion over its brand advertising program. C12 Group also controls the budget for this program. This advertising and publicity is conducted in national and regional/local online and print publications, as well as websites, with the goal of driving leads to Area Chairs through the C12 Group website and home office.

There is no advertising or marketing fund that franchisees contribute to for this national advertising program, and there are no advertising or marketing cooperatives among franchisees. Additionally, there is no advertising council that advises C12 Group on its advertising strategies. C12 Group primarily uses its in-house staff to develop advertisements but may occasionally hire advertising or marketing firms and/or graphic design artists to assist with specific campaigns.

While franchisees are required to spend an initial $10,000 on prepaid marketing, there is no ongoing requirement to spend a particular amount on advertising beyond this initial investment. C12 Group also provides franchisees with sample formats and artwork to support their local advertising efforts, but franchisees must adhere to the C12 Brand Standards Guide when conducting their own advertising. This means that while franchisees have some autonomy in local marketing, C12 Group maintains control over the overall brand image and messaging.
