C12_Group Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

Before Franchisee commences operation, Franchisor will work with Franchisee to co-plan an initial C12 introductory event, where an experienced C12 leader will travel to Franchisee's Territory at no cost to Franchisee to provide a C12 overview presentation and introductory C12 materials to Franchisee's local prospects and help Franchisee answer questions.

Franchisee will incur the cost of locally hosting the event (typically a breakfast or luncheon) which will be scheduled to coincide with the availability of one of Franchisor's leaders.

Franchisor will provide Franchisee with a turnkey C12 direct mail campaign and/or email campaign to assist in generating prospects for this initial meeting.

Moneys available from Franchisee's Prepaid Marketing Fund will directly fund this direct mail or email campaign.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 FDD, C12 Group collaborates with the franchisee to co-plan an initial introductory event. As part of this co-planning, C12 Group will send an experienced leader to the franchisee's territory to deliver a C12 overview presentation and provide introductory materials to local prospects. This leader will also assist the franchisee in answering questions from potential members. This service is provided at no cost to the franchisee in terms of the leader's travel expenses. Additionally, C12 Group provides a turnkey direct mail or email campaign to help the franchisee generate prospects for the event, with the costs of this campaign being funded from the franchisee's Prepaid Marketing Fund. This fund requires a $10,000 deposit.

The franchisee, however, is responsible for the costs associated with hosting the event locally, such as providing a breakfast or luncheon. The event's scheduling is also dependent on the availability of C12 Group's leaders. This division of responsibilities indicates that C12 Group provides significant support in terms of content, expertise, and marketing materials, while the franchisee manages the local logistical and hosting aspects.

This arrangement benefits the franchisee by providing expert support and materials for the initial event, which is crucial for attracting new members. The turnkey marketing campaign and the presence of an experienced C12 leader can significantly enhance the event's impact and the franchisee's ability to recruit members. However, the franchisee needs to be prepared to cover the hosting costs and coordinate the event logistics, making it essential to budget for these expenses and plan the event carefully with C12 Group's support.
