- Maintaining, at our sole discretion and budget, a program of C12 brand advertising and publicity in national and regional/local online and print publications as well as websites to help drive leads through our website and home office to Area Chairs across the network (FA Section III). There is no advertising or marketing fund applicable to you with respect to this national advertising. There are no advertising or marketing cooperatives among franchisees. There is no advertising council that advises C12 with respect to its advertising. C12 utilizes primarily its in-house staff in developing advertisements but may from time to time retain advertising or marketing firms and/or graphic design artists to contribute to any particular campaign. There is no requirement that you expend any particular amount on advertising and/or marketing beyond the initial $10,000 in Prepaid Marketing paid along with the franchise fee. We also provide you with sample formats and artwork to assist with your local efforts,. If you do conduct advertising, we require you to follow the C12 Brand Standards Guide (FA Section III). There

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 C12 Group Franchise Disclosure Document, C12 Group maintains a program of brand advertising and publicity to drive leads to Area Chairs across the network. This program is conducted at C12 Group's sole discretion and budget, utilizing national and regional online and print publications, as well as websites. There is no advertising or marketing fund applicable to franchisees with respect to this national advertising. C12 Group primarily uses its in-house staff to develop advertisements but may occasionally hire advertising or marketing firms and/or graphic design artists.
Beyond the national advertising efforts, C12 Group also provides assistance to franchisees in their local marketing efforts. Franchisees are required to spend an initial $10,000 in Prepaid Marketing, which is paid along with the franchise fee. C12 Group also provides sample formats and artwork to assist with local advertising efforts, and franchisees are required to adhere to the C12 Brand Standards Guide if they conduct advertising.
In addition to the above, C12 Group includes franchisees, their territories, local information, and event dates on the C12 websites (C12forums.com & JoinC12.com) if the franchisee provides the necessary information. This coordinated approach to advertising and publicity, combining national brand-building with localized support and requirements, aims to create a consistent and effective marketing strategy for C12 Group.
