What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 C12 Group Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are not permitted to relocate their business outside of their defined territory under any circumstances. The territory is defined mutually by C12 Group and the franchisee and should be incorporated in the business plan. This territory is based on geography, such as cities, zip codes, counties, states, or the radius around the franchisee's home address.
While relocation outside the territory is prohibited, C12 Group does allow franchisees to relocate their business within the boundaries of their assigned territory at their own expense and discretion. The FDD specifies that the relocation must occur within the geographic territory boundaries as defined in the Franchise Agreement.
It is important to note that while franchisees have an exclusive territory, they also have the non-exclusive right to serve individuals who live or work outside of their territory but wish to participate in Business Forum meetings hosted within their territory, provided they adhere to specific exceptions and restrictions. This allows franchisees to potentially expand their reach without physically relocating their business.
