What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 C12 Group Franchise Disclosure Document, C12 Group will provide franchisees with a turnkey C12 direct mail campaign and/or email campaign to assist in generating prospects for the initial meeting. The initial meeting is a C12 introductory event, where an experienced C12 leader will travel to the franchisee's territory at no cost to the franchisee to provide a C12 overview presentation and introductory C12 materials to the franchisee's local prospects and help the franchisee answer questions. The franchisee will incur the cost of locally hosting the event, typically a breakfast or luncheon, which will be scheduled to coincide with the availability of one of C12 Group's leaders.
The funds available from the franchisee's Prepaid Marketing Fund will directly fund this direct mail or email campaign. This fund is supported by a prepaid marketing deposit of $10,000 that the franchisee pays upon executing the franchise agreement.
This support is valuable for new franchisees as it provides a structured approach to attracting initial prospects. However, franchisees should be aware that the cost of hosting the event itself is their responsibility, and the marketing campaign is funded through their prepaid marketing fund. Franchisees should budget accordingly and actively participate in the planning and execution of the campaign to maximize its effectiveness.
