Answer from 2025 FDD Document

Before Franchisee commences operation, Franchisor will work with Franchisee to co-plan an initial C12 introductory event, where an experienced C12 leader will travel to Franchisee's Territory at no cost to Franchisee to provide a C12 overview presentation and introductory C12 materials to Franchisee's local prospects and help Franchisee answer questions.

Franchisee will incur the cost of locally hosting the event (typically a breakfast or luncheon) which will be scheduled to coincide with the availability of one of Franchisor's leaders.

Franchisor will provide Franchisee with a turnkey C12 direct mail campaign and/or email campaign to assist in generating prospects for this initial meeting.

Moneys available from Franchisee's Prepaid Marketing Fund will directly fund this direct mail or email campaign.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to C12 Group's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, prior to commencing operations, C12 Group will collaborate with the franchisee to co-plan an initial introductory event. At this event, an experienced C12 Group leader will travel to the franchisee's territory to provide a C12 Group overview presentation and introductory materials to local prospects, as well as answer questions. This service is provided at no cost to the franchisee.

The franchisee is responsible for covering the costs of hosting the event locally, such as a breakfast or luncheon, scheduled around the availability of one of C12 Group's leaders. To assist in generating prospects for this initial meeting, C12 Group will provide the franchisee with a turnkey C12 Group direct mail campaign and/or email campaign. The funds available from the franchisee's Prepaid Marketing Fund will be used to directly fund this direct mail or email campaign.

This means that C12 Group offers a ready-made direct mail or email campaign to help franchisees attract prospects to their initial meeting. However, the cost of this campaign is covered by the franchisee's Prepaid Marketing Fund. This fund is established upon the execution of the franchise agreement, and franchisees must adhere to the C12 Group Brand Standards Guide in all advertising and marketing efforts. Franchisees should be aware that the Prepaid Marketing Fund must be fully spent within 18 months of the agreement, or the remaining amount will be forfeited to C12 Group.
