What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to C12 Group's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, marketing collateral/material purchases are specifically listed as ineligible for reimbursement. While C12 Group does offer a local co-op marketing program where they may subsidize a portion of qualifying expenses equal to the franchisee's monthly effective royalty fee, this does not extend to marketing collateral.
Before C12 Group franchisees can be reimbursed for marketing expenses, they must submit a document detailing the purpose, timeline, target audience, cost, planned activities, expected ROI and impact, success strategy, and measurement and reporting methods for the marketing initiative. This document is reviewed by C12 Group, who will either approve or deny the reimbursement request within 7-10 days.
It is important to note that the FDD lists other marketing expenses that are eligible for reimbursement, such as print or digital PR campaigns, targeted direct mail campaigns, email nurturing campaigns, targeted social media advertising, Google Ad campaigns, radio or TV advertising spots, and event sponsorships with speaking opportunities. Understanding which marketing activities are eligible versus ineligible is crucial for C12 Group franchisees to effectively manage their marketing budgets and maximize potential reimbursements.
