Who incurs the cost of locally hosting the C12 Group introductory event?

C12_Group Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

Before Franchisee commences operation, Franchisor will work with Franchisee to co-plan an initial C12 introductory event, where an experienced C12 leader will travel to Franchisee's Territory at no cost to Franchisee to provide a C12 overview presentation and introductory C12 materials to Franchisee's local prospects and help Franchisee answer questions.

Franchisee will incur the cost of locally hosting the event (typically a breakfast or luncheon) which will be scheduled to coincide with the availability of one of Franchisor's leaders.

Franchisor will provide Franchisee with a turnkey C12 direct mail campaign and/or email campaign to assist in generating prospects for this initial meeting.

Moneys available from Franchisee's Prepaid Marketing Fund will directly fund this direct mail or email campaign.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 C12 Group Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for the costs associated with locally hosting the initial introductory event. This event, typically a breakfast or luncheon, is co-planned with C12 Group, and an experienced C12 Group leader will travel to the franchisee's territory at no cost to the franchisee to provide an overview presentation and introductory materials to local prospects.

While C12 Group covers the cost of sending a leader to present at the introductory event, the franchisee must pay for expenses such as the venue, food, and beverages. This cost is separate from the turnkey direct mail or email campaign that C12 Group provides to help generate prospects, which is funded by the franchisee's Prepaid Marketing Fund.

This arrangement means that prospective C12 Group franchisees need to budget for these hosting expenses when planning their initial marketing activities. Effectively managing and minimizing these costs will be important for maximizing the return on investment from the introductory event and the Prepaid Marketing Fund.
