What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to C12 Group's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a transfer of a franchise is subject to approval by C12 Group. The company evaluates the qualifications of the successor or transferee. The transferee must also present a viable business plan, which includes recognition of the franchise purchase terms. The transferee must successfully complete New Chair Training. A $6,000 transfer fee is also required.
In the event the transferee is not an existing C12 Group franchisee, they must pay a training fee to C12 Group. The transfer is only approved after C12 Group deems the transferee qualified to serve. All outstanding amounts owed by the current franchisee to C12 Group must be paid in full. If more than fifty percent (50%) of the franchised business is transferred, a new franchise agreement must be signed with the transferee.
These requirements ensure that any new franchisee coming into the C12 Group system is properly vetted, trained, and financially prepared to operate the business. This protects the brand's reputation and ensures continuity of service for existing C12 Group members.
