    1. Introductory Meeting. Before Franchisee commences operation, Franchisor will work with Franchisee to co-plan an initial C12 introductory event, where an experienced C12 leader will travel to Franchisee's Territory at no cost to Franchisee to provide a C12 overview presentation and introductory C12 materials to Franchisee's local prospects and help Franchisee answer questions. Franchisee will incur the cost of locally hosting the event (typically a breakfast or luncheon) which will be scheduled to coincide with the availability of one of Franchisor's leaders. Franchisor will provide Franchisee with a turnkey C12 direct mail campaign and/or email campaign to assist in generating prospects for this initial meeting. Moneys available from Franchisee's Prepaid Marketing Fund will directly fund this direct mail or email campaign.

Before Franchisee commences operation, Franchisor will post and maintain easy-to-search information on Franchisee, Franchisee's Territory, noteworthy local information, and planned area event/meeting dates and locations on Franchisor's website if Franchisee furnishes the necessaryinformation.

According to C12 Group's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees have several responsibilities regarding the introductory event. C12 Group will work with the franchisee to co-plan an initial introductory event. An experienced C12 Group leader will travel to the franchisee's territory at no cost to the franchisee to provide a C12 Group overview presentation and introductory materials to local prospects and help the franchisee answer questions.

The franchisee is responsible for the cost of locally hosting the event, which is typically a breakfast or luncheon, scheduled to coincide with the availability of one of C12 Group's leaders. C12 Group will provide the franchisee with a turnkey direct mail campaign and/or email campaign to assist in generating prospects for this initial meeting. Moneys available from the franchisee's Prepaid Marketing Fund will directly fund this direct mail or email campaign.

Franchisees are also required to host an initial C12 Group introductory event and/or initial CEO Forum meeting in their territory during their first year of operation. Furthermore, after the franchisee commences operation, C12 Group will support the franchisee's marketing and promotions in their territory by reimbursing amounts from the Prepaid Marketing Fund to the franchisee for initiatives that directly promote the formation of new C12 Forums in the franchisee's territory. Prepaid Marketing Fund expenditures that qualify for reimbursement include Direct Mail Campaigns related to C12 introductory events or meetings and procurement of qualifying lists of leads.
