What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 C12 Group Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must adhere strictly to the franchisor's system standards when using C12 Group's proprietary materials. This includes using C12 agendas, facilitation standards, materials, segments, forms, logos, and websites as directed. Franchisees must also follow the C12 Brand Standards Guide for paper and colors. Deviation or substitution is not allowed without prior written approval from C12 Group.
This requirement ensures brand consistency and uniformity across all C12 Group franchises. By mandating the use of specific materials and standards, C12 Group aims to maintain a consistent experience and quality for all members, regardless of location. This also allows C12 Group to control the quality and content of the services provided under its brand name.
For a prospective franchisee, this means they must be prepared to implement C12 Group's prescribed methods and materials without significant alteration. While this may limit a franchisee's autonomy in customizing their approach, it also provides a structured framework and proven resources to deliver C12 Group's services effectively. Franchisees should carefully review the C12 Brand Standards Guide and understand the process for requesting approval for any desired deviations.
