In accordance with the terms of this Agreement, Franchisor grants Franchisee the right to operate a Franchised Business within the Territory described in the map and list of zip codes attached hereto. Franchisee agrees to comply with Franchisor's rules, regulations, methods, procedures, programs, policies, and standards, as may be modified in Franchisor's sole discretion from time to time, set forth in Franchisor's Operations Manual or as otherwise communicated to Franchisee in writing and to adhere to standards of Christian conduct as established in Scripture.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to C12 Group's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to adhere to standards of Christian conduct. The Franchise Agreement states that the franchisee agrees to comply with C12 Group's rules, regulations, methods, procedures, programs, policies, and standards, and to adhere to standards of Christian conduct as established in Scripture. This obligation is a condition of the franchise grant.
Furthermore, C12 Group emphasizes that the relationship between the franchisor and franchisee should model Christian attributes. The agreement is entered into with the expectation that the relationship will reflect a covenant made for mutual benefit and eternal impact. Both parties promise to fulfill the agreement in harmony with Christian love and consideration, as found in the Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ. They also agree to conduct business affairs in love and honor toward one another and the broader Christian community.
C12 Group also requires its Area Chairs to abide by a covenant of "above reproach" conduct, avoiding behaviors that could be questionable or cause members to stumble. Franchisees and their Area Chairs must abstain from the use of all smoking products. While these specific behaviors are not considered biblical mandates, C12 Group expects franchisees to demonstrate personal sacrifice and restraint to serve C12 members and preserve Christian witness. Breaches of this standard, including moral turpitude, whether legal or illegal, can lead to immediate termination of the franchise agreement.
