What This Means (2025 FDD)

The 2025 C12 Group Franchise Disclosure Document states that franchisees must comply with C12 Group's rules, regulations, methods, procedures, programs, policies, and standards. These may be modified at C12 Group's sole discretion from time to time. These rules are set forth in C12 Group's Operations Manual or as otherwise communicated to the franchisee in writing. Franchisees must also adhere to standards of Christian conduct as established in Scripture. C12 Group may modify the approved products or services in its sole discretion from time to time, and franchisees must comply with such modifications.

This means that while the initial franchise agreement sets the foundation, C12 Group retains the right to make changes to various aspects of the business operations and standards. These changes can be communicated through the Operations Manual or in writing. For a prospective franchisee, this indicates a need to stay updated with any modifications made by C12 Group and to adapt their business practices accordingly.

It is typical in franchising for franchisors to retain some flexibility to update their systems and standards. However, the extent of these modifications and their potential impact on a franchisee's business can vary. Therefore, a prospective C12 Group franchisee should seek clarification on the types of changes that have been implemented in the past and how C12 Group ensures that franchisees are adequately informed and supported in adapting to these changes.
