Byrider Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

You may choose to relocate your Business, but you must first obtain Byrider Franchising Partners' written approval. If your lease for the physical premises of your Business terminates without your fault, or if the physical premises is damaged, condemned or otherwise unusable, or if in your and Byrider Franchising Partners' reasonable judgment there is a change in the character of the location of the Business sufficiently detrimental to its business potential to warrant its relocation, Byrider Franchising Partners will grant permission to you for relocation of the Business.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Byrider's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee may choose to relocate their Byrider Business, but they must first obtain written approval from Byrider Franchising Partners. Byrider Franchising Partners will grant permission for relocation under specific circumstances related to the viability of the current location.

Specifically, Byrider will allow relocation if the lease for the current business premises terminates through no fault of the franchisee. Relocation is also permitted if the physical premises are damaged, condemned, or otherwise rendered unusable.

Finally, Byrider will grant permission to relocate if both the franchisee and Byrider Franchising Partners reasonably agree that there has been a detrimental change in the location's character that significantly impacts the business's potential. This condition provides some flexibility based on mutual judgment regarding the location's ongoing suitability.
