What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Byrider's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Byrider reserves the right to immediately suspend a licensee's network connectivity and use of the Licensed System under specific circumstances. This action can be taken if Byrider believes in good faith that the licensee poses a threat to the Licensed System or Byrider itself.
The reasons for such a threat include, but are not limited to, viruses, worms, hacking, or any other situation that presents reasonable dangers to the system. This provision underscores Byrider's commitment to maintaining the security and integrity of its network and data.
Once the licensee can demonstrate that their use no longer poses a threat, Byrider is obligated to reactivate the licensee's access to the Licensed System. This highlights the temporary nature of the suspension, contingent upon the resolution of the identified security risks. This measure is in place to protect not only Byrider's assets but also the interests of other franchisees within the network, ensuring a secure and stable operational environment for all parties involved.
