What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Byrider's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Byrider may require franchisees and/or their employees to attend additional training programs under specific circumstances. If Byrider determines that the quality of work performed by the franchisee or their employees does not meet the company's acceptable quality standards for the Byrider system, Byrider has the right to mandate that the franchisee and/or the employees who are not meeting the standards undergo a retraining program at Byrider's training facility. This retraining is intended to correct any identified deficiencies in their performance. The franchisee is responsible for covering all travel and lodging expenses associated with attending these programs.
This requirement ensures that all Byrider locations maintain a consistent level of quality in their operations. By requiring additional training for those not meeting standards, Byrider aims to protect its brand reputation and ensure customer satisfaction across all franchise locations.
For a prospective franchisee, this means being prepared to invest in ongoing training and development for themselves and their employees. It also highlights the importance of adhering to Byrider's operational standards and guidelines to avoid being required to attend additional training programs. Franchisees should budget for potential retraining costs and ensure their employees are well-versed in Byrider's procedures and best practices.
