What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Byrider's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must appoint a Designated Manager for their Business Location under specific circumstances. The franchisee's business must be under the direct, on-location supervision of either the franchisee or a Designated Manager.
Specifically, if a franchisee operates more than one Byrider franchise, they are required to appoint a Designated Manager to act as a full-time manager at each Business Location. Similarly, if the franchisee does not devote their full-time efforts to conducting the franchisee's Byrider business, they must appoint a Designated Manager to act as a full-time manager at each Business Location.
This requirement ensures that each Byrider location has consistent, full-time management, regardless of the franchisee's other business interests or the number of franchises they operate. The Designated Manager is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and operation of the Byrider business, ensuring compliance with the franchise agreement and maintaining the standards of the Byrider system.
