According to Byrider's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement is included as Exhibit A.1a. This agreement outlines the obligations of the franchisee (referred to as Licensee) regarding confidential information. The Licensee is prohibited from disclosing, publishing, or disseminating confidential information to anyone except their employees and contractors with a "need to know" who are bound by a written confidentiality agreement, or other employees and contractors who have signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement with Byrider (referred to as Licensor).

The agreement also restricts the franchisee from decompiling, reverse engineering, disassembling, modifying, networking, renting, leasing, or loaning the confidential information without Byrider's prior written authorization. Franchisees must not remove or alter any copyright, patent, trademark, logo, or other ownership notices from the confidential information.

Furthermore, the franchisee is prohibited from introducing any malicious computer code, such as viruses or worms, into the licensed system or Byrider's networks. The franchisee also consents to the mingling of confidential information.
