What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Byrider's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a key component of the Byrider franchise system is the requirement that all franchisees offer a warranty program with the sale of every vehicle. This is part of the broader system that includes a facility for conducting business, methods for selling and servicing used vehicles, and a system for financing these vehicles.
Vehicle Service Contracts (VSCs) and warranties are integral to Byrider's business model, as highlighted in the table of contents. Specifically, there are standards set for both vehicle service contracts and general warranty and service contracts.
Byrider also offers an optional GPS service contract. These contracts are listed alongside other key aspects of the Byrider system, such as the Retail Sales & Finance Platform (RSP) and standards for customer treatment and ethical conduct. This indicates the importance Byrider places on providing service contracts as part of its overall customer service and operational standards.
