the earlier of the date the Franchisee's Business is open to the public or the one-year anniversary of the date of this Agreement. The term "Royalty Fee" shall mean the amount calculated monthly as follows:

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Byrider's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the monthly royalty fee for a Founder Franchisee with one Byrider business under the Multi-Location Flat Rate (MLFR) is $8,954.00. This flat rate applies if the franchisee qualifies for and elects to pay the MLFR instead of the standard royalty fees.
The Multi-Location Flat Rate (MLFR) can be superseded by other royalty fee arrangements if the franchisee fails to meet specific conditions. These conditions include maintaining qualification for the MLFR, operating at least two Byrider businesses, and remaining compliant with the Franchise Agreement and all other agreements with Byrider and its affiliates. If these conditions are not met, the franchisee will be required to comply with the standard royalty fee obligations.
Byrider also retains the right to increase the Royalty Fee by the National Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U). Any such increase will be applied uniformly to all franchisees under the same form of franchise agreement, and Byrider will notify franchisees in writing by December 1st of each calendar year regarding any changes for the following year. This potential increase should be considered when evaluating the overall cost of the franchise.
