Does Byrider require compliance with the Franchise Agreement as a condition for renewal?

According to Byrider's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, compliance with the Franchise Agreement is required to renew the franchise term. Specifically, a franchisee must adhere to the terms of the Franchise Agreement to be eligible for an additional franchise term.

To renew their Byrider franchise, franchisees must request a successive franchise term, comply with the existing Franchise Agreement, fulfill all financial obligations to Byrider Franchising Partners, and properly execute all required documents. The renewal involves signing the then-current franchise agreement, which may include materially different terms and fees for a subsequent five-year term.

Byrider offers franchisees the right to obtain three additional, successive franchise terms of five years each. If Byrider Franchising Partners is still in the business of licensing new franchises, franchisees can obtain unlimited successive five-year franchise terms, provided they continue to meet the qualifications and conditions for each renewal term. This condition ensures that only franchisees who maintain good standing and meet the brand's standards are allowed to continue operating under the Byrider name.
