What is Byrider obligated to provide the Licensee regarding the Licensed Documentation?

Licensor has developed infrastructure standards ("Infrastructure Standards") (as that term is defined and described in Exhibit 1 to this Agreement) that permit approved access to the Licensed System.
The Hosting Facility, the Licensed Software, the Infrastructure Standards and Licensed Documentation, together with any modifications, translations, updates, versions, enhancements or improvements to the software programs and/or documentation provided by Licensor to Licensee are hereinafter referred to as the "Licensed System." Licensor agrees to provide Licensee with one (1) copy of the Licensed Documentation and all updates or revisions to the Licensed Documentation.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Byrider's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Byrider agrees to provide the Licensee with one copy of the Licensed Documentation, including all updates or revisions. The Licensed Documentation includes end-user manuals to assist in utilizing and understanding the Licensed Software. The Licensed System includes the Hosting Facility, the Licensed Software, the Infrastructure Standards, and Licensed Documentation, along with any modifications, translations, updates, versions, enhancements, or improvements to the software programs and/or documentation provided by Byrider to the Licensee.
However, the Licensee is restricted in making copies of the Licensed Documentation. The Licensee can only make copies necessary for its use of the License System. The Licensee cannot make the copy available to any person other than its employees or agents who are bound to maintain that information in confidence and have been instructed not to make the copy available to any person other than an employee or agent of Licensee who is similarly bound.
The Licensee is required to label all copies of the Licensed Documentation with a specific copyright notice: "© Byrider Franchising Partners, LLC All rights reserved. Copies in whole or part may only be made by express written permission of the copyright owner." This notice must be prominently displayed so it is easily seen by anyone accessing the copies. The Licensee is prohibited from removing, hiding, or disabling any of Byrider's copyright notices on the Licensed System.
