What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Byrider Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must provide Byrider with written notice at least sixty (60) days before opening their business. This written notification is referred to as the "Notice of Opening."

If the franchisee fails to provide this 60-day notice, Byrider is relieved of its obligation to provide assistance in connection with the opening of the franchisee's business, as detailed in Section 6.6 of the franchise agreement. This highlights the importance of adhering to the notification timeline to ensure the franchisee receives the support Byrider is contractually obligated to provide during the opening phase.

Furthermore, the franchisee cannot open their Byrider business until Byrider determines that the construction and preparation of the business location are completed according to the agreement. Additionally, the Designated Manager must complete Byrider's Initial Training Program before the business can open. Within three months of opening, the franchisee must also submit a Grand Opening advertising and promotion program to Byrider for prior approval and then implement the program at their own expense.
