What is the Licensor's obligation regarding providing updates to the Byrider Licensed Documentation?

The Hosting Facility, the Licensed Software, the Infrastructure Standards and Licensed Documentation, together with any modifications, translations, updates, versions, enhancements or improvements to the software programs and/or documentation provided by Licensor to Licensee are hereinafter referred to as the "Licensed System." Licensor agrees to provide Licensee with one (1) copy of the Licensed Documentation and all updates or revisions to the Licensed Documentation.
Licensor agrees to provide Licensee access to the Licensed Software.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Byrider's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Byrider is obligated to provide franchisees with one copy of the Licensed Documentation, including all updates or revisions. The Licensed Documentation includes end-user manuals to assist in utilizing and understanding the Licensed Software. The Licensed System includes the Hosting Facility, the Licensed Software, the Infrastructure Standards, and the Licensed Documentation, along with any modifications, translations, updates, versions, enhancements, or improvements to the software programs and/or documentation provided by Byrider to the franchisee.
This obligation ensures that franchisees have access to the most current information and resources necessary to effectively use the Licensed System. Byrider also agrees to provide franchisees access to the Licensed Software.
It is important to note that while Byrider is responsible for providing updates, franchisees are responsible for maintaining a secure network connection to the Licensed System and ensuring their personnel access the system in a secure work environment. Additionally, unauthorized changes to the Licensed System by the franchisee may relieve Byrider of its service obligations.
