What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Byrider's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Byrider is obligated to provide franchisees with one copy of the Licensed Documentation, including all updates or revisions. The Licensed Documentation includes end-user manuals to assist in utilizing and understanding the Licensed Software. The Licensed System includes the Hosting Facility, the Licensed Software, the Infrastructure Standards, and Licensed Documentation, along with any modifications, translations, updates, versions, enhancements, or improvements to the software programs and/or documentation provided by Byrider to the franchisee.

This means that as a Byrider franchisee, you are entitled to receive not only the initial documentation for the software system but also any subsequent updates or revisions made to it. This ensures that franchisees have access to the most current information and instructions for using the software effectively. This obligation helps franchisees stay informed about changes to the system and maintain operational efficiency.

It is important to note that while Byrider commits to providing updates and revisions to the Licensed Documentation, franchisees are responsible for ensuring that their personnel are adequately trained and capable of utilizing the Licensed System. Additionally, franchisees should maintain open communication with Byrider through the designated liaison to address any difficulties or questions related to the use of the Licensed Software.
