What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Byrider's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee is opening their first or second Byrider location, the company will provide on-site assistance for at least one week while the business opens. This assistance involves at least one of Byrider's representatives being present at the location to help facilitate the opening. The number of days of assistance and who will be on-site is at Byrider's discretion.
During this initial week, the Byrider representative will help the franchisee establish standardized procedures and techniques that are essential for operating the Byrider business. They will also assist in training the franchisee's personnel. This on-site support aims to ensure the franchisee starts off with a solid foundation in Byrider's operational methods.
If the franchisee needs more help beyond the initial week, they can request additional assistance from Byrider. If Byrider deems it necessary and appropriate to provide this extra support, the franchisee will have to pay Byrider's customary fees, which are currently $1,000 per day, plus reimbursement for any out-of-pocket expenses Byrider incurs while providing the additional assistance. This fee structure incentivizes franchisees to become self-sufficient quickly while still allowing them access to further support if truly needed.
