What This Means (2025 FDD)

Based on the 2025 FDD, Byrider franchisees are required to use a technology system that includes both proprietary and off-the-shelf software, hardware, SaaS platforms, and a dealer management system with integrated CRM. Franchisees must pay the costs of this technology system to the appropriate vendors.

The FDD mentions that Exhibit D, Appendix A identifies the items typically required per franchised location. It also states that Byrider may allow franchisees to substitute items in Appendix A if the substitution does not materially impact the company's delivery of services or support, but Byrider is under no obligation to do so.

While the FDD outlines the required technology and the possibility of substitutions, it does not provide specific details on Byrider's considerations or criteria when initially selecting or hiring these vendors. A prospective franchisee should inquire with Byrider about the vendor selection process, including what factors are considered, how vendors are evaluated, and whether franchisees have any input into vendor selection.
