What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Byrider's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Byrider determines the extent of on-site support for new franchisees. Specifically, if a franchisee is opening their first or second Byrider location, Byrider will provide at least one representative on-site during the first week of business.
The FDD states that the number of days of on-site assistance and the specific personnel assigned are at Byrider's discretion. This means Byrider has the authority to decide how long the support lasts and who provides it. For any additional locations beyond the first two, Byrider will provide on-site assistance as they deem appropriate based on the circumstances.
If a franchisee requires more assistance than initially provided, they can request additional support from Byrider. However, this additional assistance is subject to Byrider's approval, and the franchisee will incur customary fees, currently $1,000 per day, plus reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses for Byrider to provide such additional assistance.
