What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Byrider Franchise Disclosure Document, Byrider Franchising Partners, LLC will provide franchisees with access to its Licensed System for data processing and other services related to 'buy-here-pay-here' automobile sales and collection management. These services specifically include the generation of retail installment sales and security contracts from input data, as well as the monitoring of receivables and collection productivity.
However, Byrider retains the right to suspend or limit a franchisee's access to these services if any amounts due to Byrider are more than thirty days past due, or as otherwise stipulated in the Franchise Agreement. This condition underscores the importance of franchisees maintaining timely payments to Byrider to ensure uninterrupted access to the Licensed System and its associated services.
This agreement ensures that Byrider franchisees have the necessary tools and support to manage their sales and collection processes effectively, while also protecting Byrider's interests by allowing them to suspend services in cases of delinquent payments. Prospective franchisees should carefully review the terms of the Franchise Agreement and the Byrider Software Services and User Agreement to fully understand their obligations and the potential consequences of non-payment.
