What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Byrider's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, CNAC Training is required only for the Designated Manager, but is recommended for other managers. The Designated Manager is the individual who devotes their full-time efforts to the daily operations of the Byrider business.
The CNAC Training consists of 16 hours of classroom instruction with no on-the-job training hours specified. The training takes place at Byrider's Carmel, Indiana headquarters, referred to as the Byrider Franchise Support Center, or at a regional training location selected by Byrider Franchising Partners.
This means that while the franchisee must ensure their Designated Manager completes the CNAC training, they have the discretion to decide whether other managers also receive this training. This allows for flexibility in training based on the specific roles and responsibilities of the management team. The franchisee will need to weigh the benefits of additional training for other managers against the costs and time commitment involved.
