What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bw Premier Collection's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a hotel will be responsible for a QA reassessment fee if the hotel does not pass a Quality Assurance (QA) assessment. The QA reassessment will occur without notice within, on, or about ninety (90) days of the failed assessment.

The purpose of the Quality Assurance assessment is to ensure that Bw Premier Collection hotels maintain certain standards. Maintaining these standards is part of the hotel's obligations under the franchise agreement. The hotel must comply with all QA processes and procedures, achieve a passing BWI QA assessment rating prior to activation on BWI Reservation Channels, and maintain a passing rating for the duration of the agreement.

The QA Reassessment Fee is a cost recovery fee of $2,100. In addition to the fee, the hotel is required to provide a free room night to the QA inspector. This fee structure incentivizes Bw Premier Collection franchisees to maintain high standards, as failing to do so results in additional expenses and potential disruption.
