What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Bw Premier Collection FDD, after a preliminary review of the application by a Best Western management committee, the processing of the application requires payment of a non-refundable Impact Study Fee. This fee must be paid via electronic wire transfer before the impact study is conducted.

Specifically, if Best Western determines that an impact study is necessary due to the hotel's location within the member market area of an existing Best Western member hotel, the applicant is responsible for covering the cost of this study. This Impact Study Fee is in addition to the $4,000 non-refundable Application Fee and the First Year Fee, which is held as a good-faith deposit.

It's important to note that payment of any fees, including the Impact Study Fee, or submission of the application does not guarantee affiliation with Best Western. The Best Western Board of Directors retains the right to deny an application for any reason. This condition highlights the financial risk involved, as the Impact Study Fee is non-refundable, regardless of the application's outcome.
