What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Bw Premier Collection FDD, franchisees have specific obligations regarding compliance with brand standards and policies, as detailed in Section 3 of the Distribution Agreement and referenced in Item 9. This includes adhering to the standards outlined in the operating manual, as well as those related to trademarks and proprietary information, as specified in Sections 2(h), 3(o), and 3(hh) of the Distribution Agreement. These obligations are further discussed in Items 8, 11, 13, and 14 of the FDD.

Specifically, Bw Premier Collection franchisees must maintain the hotel and provide amenities consistent with an upscale hotel. Franchisees must also maintain a passing BWI quality assurance ("QA") assessment rating. Bw Premier Collection has the right to make changes to its standards for an upscale hotel and what it considers to be a passing QA assessment rating, and franchisees must comply with all changes adopted. The BW Premier Collection® trademark is protected under registration numbers Reg. 4814572 and Reg. 4872031.

These obligations ensure that all Bw Premier Collection locations maintain a consistent level of quality and service, protecting the brand's reputation. Franchisees should carefully review Section 3 of the Distribution Agreement, Items 8, 11, 13, and 14 of the FDD, and Exhibit H-1, which contains the BW Premier Collection® by Best Western QA Assessment Process & Procedures Table of Contents, to fully understand their responsibilities. Compliance with these standards is critical for maintaining the franchise agreement and ensuring the hotel's success within the Bw Premier Collection system.
