What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bw Premier Collection's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if an applicant leases the property for their hotel, they must provide a copy of the lease or evidence of intent to lease. The document also requires specifying the start date or estimated start date of the lease (month, day, and year). This is part of a broader set of requirements related to property ownership and leasing information that Bw Premier Collection collects during the application process.
In addition to the lease documentation, the applicant must complete Attachment A, which provides a breakdown of the entity holding the leasing interest in the property. This includes providing the name of the entity, address, city, state/province, zip/postal code, phone number, extension, date the entity was formed (month, day, and year), and the state/province where the entity was formed. If the owning/leasing entity has not yet been formed, the applicant should list "TBD" as the name of the entity and provide all known information.
Bw Premier Collection requires that pages 1-12 of the application forms be returned, along with the required supporting documents and confirmation that the $4,000 nonrefundable application fee has been sent via electronic wire transfer. It is recommended to send all information via express mail to the Property Transition Representative and also to fax the items to expedite the process. Applicants should keep a copy of all submitted information for their records.
