What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Bw Premier Collection Franchise Disclosure Document, Bw Premier Collection will use commercially reasonable efforts to display relevant Hotel Information on its reservation service. This information includes rates, availability, taxes, fees, Hotel and room information, cancellation and no-show policies. This is part of Bw Premier Collection's effort to market the Hotel on their reservation service during the franchisee's operation of the hotel.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that Bw Premier Collection takes on the responsibility of showcasing key details about their hotel to potential customers through its reservation system. This can be a significant benefit, as it leverages the brand's existing network and marketing efforts to attract bookings. The breadth of information displayed, from rates to cancellation policies, aims to provide transparency and encourage reservations.
However, the FDD specifies that Bw Premier Collection will use "commercially reasonable efforts" in marketing the Hotel and displaying the Hotel Information. This wording suggests that there is no guarantee of specific results or levels of exposure on the reservation service. A prospective franchisee should clarify with Bw Premier Collection what specific metrics or strategies are used to ensure effective marketing and information display. Understanding the scope and limitations of this support is crucial for setting realistic expectations about potential revenue and occupancy rates.
