What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bw Premier Collection's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the $4,000 application fee must be paid via electronic wire transfer. This fee is non-refundable. The applicant is also responsible for any fees associated with sending the wire transfer.
Best Western will not review the application until they receive the First Year Fee via electronic wire transfer. This fee is held as a good-faith deposit until the Distribution Agreement is executed. If an impact study is required, the Impact Study Fee must also be paid via electronic wire transfer before the study is conducted. All fees are payable in U.S. or Canadian funds.
Submitting the application or paying any fees does not guarantee affiliation with Best Western. The Board of Directors can deny an application for any reason. If the application is approved, the applicant will be asked to execute an agreement within 15 days of the offer. The applicant cannot market their hotel as a Bw Premier Collection hotel or affiliated with Best Western until all conditions and requirements are met.
